Terms and Conditions

The Trading Centre will process any order received for physical goods rapidly, and will aim to complete packaging and handing over to an appropriate delivery service usually within 4 working days. In general you should receive your goods within 7 to 10 working days, but you should allow a maximum of 21 working days, especially if shipping is to overseas, or with large orders. A certain number of items are not held in stock, and we therefore have to forward such orders to our wholesalers which may occasionally incur a slight delay over our usual service outlined herein, especially with more specialist items.

It is occasionally necessary for The Trading Centre to split large orders, especially to over-seas addresses.

Due to the specialist nature of The Trading Centre, occasionally stock items may not be available as a great deal of our inventory is imported from Asia. In such situations, The Trading Centre will contact you to offer you alternatives with a payment adjustment where necessary. If, after two such attempts to contact you are made there is no response, The Trading Centre may at its own discretion either:
i) swap the nearest alternative stock item and forward this instead, with the appropriate payment adjustment. In these circumstances, if you do not wish to accept the replacement items, we will swap the goods for another item of your choice at your expense subject to the original item being returned in mint condition.
ii) cancel the order and refund you in full if, at our discretion, there is no suitable of available alternative.

Your Statutory Rights - Cooling-off Period

By law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered to you. We regret that we also cannot accept cancellations of contracts for the purchase of any items where the item has been unsealed, or for goods supplied by electronic download where the download has been completed.

To cancel your purchase under this cooling-off period, please contact us, details are on our contact us page, giving the reason for the return as "contract cancellation". Please package the relevant item securely and send it to us so that we receive it within seven working days of the day after the date that the item was delivered to you. The return address is given on this sites Contact us page. We recommend that you use registered post to return goods under such circumstances; we will only refund after the goods have been received in as-new condition and unopened. The customer is responsible for covering the cost or any such return postage. In any refund situation, The Trading Centre will only refund the monies paid for goods ordered, excluding the postage and packaging costs.

The Trading Centre is a niche independent business run by enthusiasts. We cannot hold enormous stocks of the products that we sell, but we have entered into drop shipment arrangements with a number of leading specialist suppliers from around the world who ship on our behalf. As such, we cannot always offer a next day service, especially with some of our more specialist. If this is the case, we will strive to inform our customers by return.

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is faulty. If we do not receive the item back from you after a "contract cancellation", we may arrange for collection of the item from your residence at your cost.

Prices

The Prices for Goods or Services are quoted in the catalogue excluding sales taxes or any other charges (unless otherwise stated).

Local sales tax (VAT at rate 17.5%) is charged on tax rated goods which are shipped by any means to territories to which this tax applies. In addition handling or packaging charges, postage and insurance may be applied if applicable to non-electronic download goods.

Any charges in addition to the cost of the goods in the catalogue are stated on the shop order form which can be seen before goods are paid for.

Delivery of Goods

Please note that we will not normally ship goods outside of the EEC to any single location/party where the total value of the goods ordered exceeds £70.00 Sterling (around $135.00 USD).

The Trading Centre electronic download system allows our customers to collect goods after purchase for a period of 5 days. Instructions and access codes which are required to activate this process are supplied after purchase on an Order Information form which is sent by email. Please allow time for this email to arrive. It should be with you within minutes, but sometimes may take longer. If there is a problem, please contact us, and we can email you the appropriate details manually to download your software.

It is essential that when an electronic download purchase is made a valid email address is supplied.

Payments

All site transactions are processed through our payment gateway - Secure Trading, one of the UK's leading independent internet Payment Servive Providers (PSP). This provides secure online payment processing for Paypal payments as well as most major debit and credit cards.

We will not normally deliver goods to a customer to a delivery address which is different to the invoice address the first time an order is made.

The Trading Centre will maintain a secure database of user email addresses entered when users register the demo. We will not share these details with third parties, but by registering the demo you agree that we may contact you by email on an infrequent basis in order to inform you of special offers. If you do not wish to be contacted, please email us asking us to remove you from our database.

Confidentiality

We collect information from you when you purchase goods to enable us to process your order and also to be able to get in touch with you in the rare event of any problems. We shall not disclose this information to any third party.

When you buy goods from us you are given the option to opt in to our mailing list for new product information. This is strongly recommended as new products are added to this outlet regularly, including upgrades of the software products we sell, and new versions. We will only send you product information updates if you tick the new products information box.

Suitablity

No products that we sell are suitable for children under the age of five years old. Parents are advised that our products may contain small parts.

Extent of Liability

In no circumstances whatsoever shall the liability of any parties involved in the supply of products via this site exceed the invoice value of any goods supplied.
