Please note that, according to our third-party payment mechanism, the start date is not required for credit cards and should only be entered for debit cards when it is present on the card. Please leave the start date blank.

If the system will not accept payment without a start date, please note that our third-party payment mechanism requires that customers input start date information in the format MM/YY. Certain types of USA cards only have YYYY format start dates. It is usual for these cards to have end date information in the MM/YY date format, and from here you can calculate the MM/YY start date. For example:

If your card end date is 11/08, and the start date is 2004, your start date will be 12/04. So you need to add one month to the end date month.

Electronic downloads only

When a download purchase is made from The Trading Centre, an email headed "Order Information" is sent to our customers. This email contains instructions to retrieve downloadable product(s) purchased.

It is vitally important that when a download purchase is made the email address supplied is typed in correctly. So please take care when you enter this.

Generally the "Order Information" email should be with you within a few minutes after purchasing, but sometimes this mail has been known to take longer.

Retrieving downloadable purchased products involves returning to The Trading Centre and entering a valid username and password supplied in the Order Information email into the Log In page. It is possible for customers who have purchased products to obtain their username and password directly themselves from The Trading Centre.

This can be done by revisiting The Trading Centre and clicking on the Log In button. A link can be seen marked Have you Forgotten Your Details?. Click on the link Your Details?, and then follow the prompts to enter your purchase email address. The username and password required to Log In and retrieve goods will be mailed directly to you.

In the inlikely event that you do have a problem, for example you believe that you may have typed in your purchase email address incorrectly, please get in touch with us using the details supplied on the Contact Us page. We are always willing to help and will attempt to respond very quickly, especially during normal working hours which are 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday (GMT).

Important information; you will be emailed download instructions for your program. Once you have downloaded the self-extracting archive, please make a backup copy on CD for your own records. Upon installation, please ask to install a TRIAL SYSTEM. This is a fully functioning version of the product, and it will automatically be verified by the copy protection and unlocked. Please note that even without unlocking, the download will run for 5 days from first installation so you will be able to run your program immediately. Please note that software downloads are licensed for your personal use only, and your copy is automatically encrypted by our secure copy protection. Illegal copies are easily traced and will be disabled. 

Please note that Many Faces of Go Download and Shotest Shogi 3D are protected by CopyMinder copy protection, which requires occasional internet access for verification purposes. If you are going to use either of these programs on a laptop when travelling with no internet connection, the advice from CopyMinder is to run the program before you leave home so that the copy protection will be refreshed. Please note that this does not apply to the CD-ROM versions.

Many Faces of Go is not designed to run under Windows Vista, as per the minimum requirements listed. However, it is possible to get Many Faces of Go to install on a new PC running under Windows Vista, but you may get an error code 681. If this happens, you will need to install Many Faces as Administrator after disabling Windows User Account Control (UAC). You can turn it on/off within 'control panel'/User Accounts.

Important Installation Information for Xiexie Master Download:
Once you have downloaded your copy of Xiexie Master, you will need to apply for an unlock key from the publisher. In order to do this, first you will need to install Xiexie Master, and then run it. Once Xiexie Master has been run, the program will generate a licence file "licence2.5.14.bin" which you will find in the installation's directory (by default this directory is C:\xiexiemaster2.5\). Please return this file as an attachment to the publisher as per the email address provided within Xiexie Master, and they will unlock the product for you. Please note that license keys are not transferable to other PCs, so if you wish to install Xiexie Master on more than one PC, you will need to send a license file "licence2.5.14.bin" that has been generated on each target PC.

The Order Information email contains details of your download purchase, but also the information below (at the bottom of the email).

  Username : The purchase email address OR chosen by yourself if you registered.
  Password : Generated by our system, OR chosen by yourself if you registered.

  When you have logged on to our site, you will be offered the option to immediately view and download your purchased files(s). Please click on the link marked "View my downloadable files", and you will see a list of the downloadable files available to you that have recently been purchased but have not yet expired.

  You must download your electronically supplied goods within 5 days from the time of purchase, at which point the system automatically removes the downlo. If, for whatever reason, you fail to return to the Trading Centre within this time period, please contact us to let us know.
